My Experience
I'm currently a Senior Product Designer at MGM Resorts, where I lead the conversational design for MGM’s AI-powered chatbot. The chatbot provides concierge services across 20 hotel properties and has improved chat containment by 97%.
Previously, I worked as a Senior UX/UI Designer at 7-Eleven Digital, where I led the end-to-end design of an enterprise web application. The tool enabled pricing analysts to optimize profitability across more than 10,000 stores.
Before that, I was a UX/UI Designer for startups, agencies, and companies across industries ranging from entertainment to healthcare. My experience spans:
Leading research and design for web and mobile platforms
Facilitating design thinking workshops
Creating and scaling design systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Mentoring junior designers
Why UX Design
I'm a self-taught designer with a background in visual design and film direction. I discovered UX in 2015 through a Design Thinking course at UCLA Extension, and was instantly drawn to its strategic problem-solving approach. I was especially inspired by Jared Spool’s talk, The Evolution of a New Design Revolution.
UX became the perfect intersection of my strengths: big-picture thinking, attention to detail, and a deep empathy for people. I’m passionate about designing for positive impact, approaching every project with a beginner’s mind, and continuously learning and evolving.
Outside of Work
When I’m not designing, I stay creatively engaged through painting and writing. I am often exploring themes of personal and social change, especially around mental health and healing. Most recently, I completed a mural on a 14-foot staircase wall in a private residence.
