Being a fan of street art and graffiti, I got very excited to create a logo for Tagr - a mobile app for fans and artists to find artwork near them, post new pieces, recognize the artist of a piece (think Shazam for art), etc.
I enjoyed working with them so much, I stayed on the team to create iconography, mobile and web UI, social media content, email campaigns, and motion graphics. On the UX side, I was part of user research, user testing, and wireframing efforts.
Tagr wanted the logo to speak primarily to graffiti and street artists, while keeping in mind their future goals to incorporate artists' studios and galleries. Since I draw inspiration from graffiti in my personal work, I loved brainstorming ideas and honing in on the right balance between street and clean.
